A graduate of Akron, Diane Snow earned her Ph.D. in neuroscience from Case Western University. Currently, she is professor of neuroscience at the University of Kentucky, where she holds an endowed chair in the Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Research Center. In addition, Diane is the interim director of the UK Honors program and director of undergraduate Research at the University.
Diane has authored more than 50 scientific articles and her work has received support from the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Department of Defense and the Christopher and Diana Reeve Foundation, among others.
She completed her postdoctoral fellowship and research assistant professorship at the University of Minnesota with a focus on spinal cord injury and neural regeneration and has been on the faculty at Kentucky since 1996.
